Report from the West

This weekend a group of Bobcats convened on the west coast for a weekend of JNQs in Truckee. Racers from the Truckee/Tahoe area and Mammoth competed and several teams from Oregon came down as well for the races. Bria, Max, and Laurel competed and were lucky to have Filly, who is home for Christmas, come up to cheer. Everyone was also graced with the presence of Jordan Buetow, now better known as "Coach Jordan". It was a happy reunion for the western Bobcats!

Saturday was a skate sprint and Laurel and Max managed to snag second places in their B finals. Sunday was a classic 5k for the ladies and a 10k for the boys. Laurel placed fourth, Bria 9th, and Max 6th in their respective races. Despite wet and rainy conditions, not to mention the high altitude, everyone finished the weekend in good spirits!
