...and this year we remembered to make stuffing.

Over Thanksgiving break, Bates Nordic took a trip up North to finally trade out our wheels on black pavement for pieces of wood and plastic on white snow.

Among all the awesome things we did in Quebec, we most importantly crushed turkey day with our flawless cooking (minus burnt chocolate and popcorn...) and an absurd amount of velour.

P$ and Max cooked squash and repeatedly said "I'm in the kitchen, yams errywhere"

Maddy's cranberry sauce was a hit...for the four seconds before it was all gone.

PBP made his mom's Pecan Pie

Hallie embraced her Jewish roots by making Sweet Potato Latkas

Velour.

We did also do some skiing occasionally, and thanks to Maddy we were able to capture a few of the elusive bobcats:

we are mostly thankful we only have two weeks left until Christmas break, where we will all go our separate ways and spend the holidays eating way too much sugar and training way too hard. xoxoxox, the Bates family wolfpack.
