Yesterday the team competed at the Eyes on the Pies rollerski race down at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. It was a beautiful Fall day down there and the course was entirely on private roads and around the Pineland campus. Bowdoin and Colby also took part in the events. Our men (and Gretchen) did the 10 km and the women did the 5 km, followed by a 5 km run against the other collegiate skiers. Everybody skied and ran really well and put out great efforts. Some of our skiers are not healthy enough to race right now, but everybody came out to workout and support their teammates. Connor '09 and Tim '09 both were able to jump in the race as well, going 1-2 in the Masters 10 km.
